Attached below is the job description for the Urban Planner & Project Coordinator position for CLA Global. This role will oversee and manage urban planning projects across multiple cities, including Katihar, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Kishanganj, and Munger (including Jamalpur). The candidate can be stationed in any of these cities based on their preference but must have strong liaison capabilities with UDHD Patna, District Magistrates, Municipal Commissioner of the respective areas.

Position: Urban Planner & Project Coordinator
Location: Katihar, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Kishanganj, Munger (including Jamalpur) – Stationed at a preferred city within these locations

Overview:
CLA Global is seeking a dedicated Urban Planner & Project Coordinator to oversee and manage urban planning projects across multiple cities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the urban planning scope of ongoing assignments, ensuring the timely submission of deliverables, and collaborating with various stakeholders, including the Urban Development and Housing Department (UDHD) in Patna, District Magistrates (DM), and Municipal Commissioner in each specific area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
   o Oversee urban planning projects in Katihar, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Kishanganj, Munger (including Jamalpur).
   o Ensure timely submission of deliverables according to the work plan.
   o Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
   o Coordinate with the project team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
2. Urban Planning:
   o Take care of the urban planning scope for ongoing assignments.
   o Develop urban plans aligned with regulations and community needs.
   o Write, format, and submit reports to clients.
   o Evaluate development proposals for compliance with planning policies.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   o Collaborate with all stakeholders, including UDHD Patna, DMs and Commissioner of each specific area.
   o Engage with communities to gather input and address concerns.
   o Liaise with government officials, clients, and other relevant parties.
4. Analysis and Reporting:
   o Analyze demographic, economic, and environmental factors to inform planning decisions.
   o Utilize GIS and other tools to map and analyze spatial data.
   o Prepare reports and presentations outlining planning recommendations.
5. Trend Monitoring:
   o Stay updated on urban planning trends and technologies.
   o Implement best practices and innovative solutions in urban planning projects.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in urban planning and project management.
• Proficiency in GIS and other spatial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of urban planning regulations and policies.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to travel to different project locations as needed.
• Strong liaison capabilities with UDHD Patna/ DMs/ Commissioner/ Town Planner of specific areas.
• Flexibility to be stationed at any preferred city within the project locations.
