We’re Hiring: Project Associate (Architecture + Urban/Regional Planning)

📍 Location: New Delhi / Agra | 🕐 Type: Full-time | 📅 Experience: 1–2 years
Sector: Urban Development | Environmental Planning | NGO / Development Sector

🔍 What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a Project Associate with a Bachelor’s in Architecture and a Master’s in Urban/Regional/Environmental Planning who is passionate about community-led development. The ideal candidate should be eager to work on-ground in underserved settlements and contribute to technically sound, socially inclusive, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
Support planning & implementation of WaSH infrastructure (community toilets, greywater systems, drainage, etc.)
Prepare site layouts, designs, BoQs, and estimates for low-cost urban infrastructure
Conduct fieldwork: assessments, mapping, community engagement, and consultations
Draft project reports, technical documentation, and research briefs
Use GIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools for planning, data analysis, and presentation
Facilitate awareness workshops and community behavior change sessions
Collaborate with stakeholders – local governments, engineers, SHGs, and community groups

📚 Qualifications & Skills:
B.Arch + M.Plan (Urban/Regional/Environmental Planning or related)
1–2 years of relevant experience
Comfortable working in field-based environments with vulnerable communities
Knowledge of inclusive, decentralized sanitation/WaSH systems
Proficient in AutoCAD, QGIS, MS Office; bonus if familiar with SketchUp / Illustrator
Strong communication skills in English & Hindi
