CiSTUP- Project Associate Position
Project Description:
💥 Title: Project Associate Position in Road Safety and Road Safety Audits.
The Centre for infrastructure, Sustainable Transportation and Urban Planning (CiSTUP) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) invites applications for a Project Associate position in Road Safety and Road Safety Audits. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing traffic & safety data, conducting road safety audits, and developing strategies to improve road safety. This role requires a deep understanding of traffic engineering, safety principles, and regulatory standards. Candidate should have the following qualifications:
💥Education:
Graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning or a related field.
💥Skills Expected:
⚡ Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in road safety or traffic engineering, with prior experience in audits and report writing. Proficiency in Kannada is a plus
⚡Strong understanding of road safety principles, traffic management, and familiarity with relevant IRC codes
⚡Proficient in AutoCAD layout diagrams for road design
⚡Certified Road Safety Auditor will be an added advantage
⚡Willingness to travel for audits throughout Karnataka.
