1. Transport Planner

Position : Transport Planner – Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA)

Working Location: Warangal

Job Description:
Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) is looking for Transport Planner who can prepare studies for proposed transportation projects. Gather, compile, and analyze data. Study the use and operation of transportation systems. Develop transportation models or simulations.

This position is on purely contract basis for a period of One Year, and will be further renewed based on performance assessment.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Study current transportation systems, analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the plans.
• Evaluate the legality of current and proposed transit infrastructure.
• Preparation of Drafts reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Recommend modifications to current plans to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, reduce cost, and implement other improvements.
• Design plans for new infrastructure projects such as car parking, bus facilities, or bike lanes.
• Present plans to various legislative organizations and groups and negotiates cooperation.
• Submits bids and writes grants to secure funding for projects.
• Overseeing the implementation of proposed changes and developments.
• Adhere to timeline and budgetary constraints.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to write clear reports, communicate findings, and articulate proposals.
• Thorough understanding of governmental transport and planning policies.
• Ability to model and analyze traffic flows using mathematical techniques and computer applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning.
• Masters Degree in Transportation Engineering/ Transportation Planning, Other equivalent fields
• At least two years of related experience required.

2. Landscape Architect

Position : Landscape Architect – Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA)

Working Location: Warangal

Job Description:
Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) for landscape architects who can Manage production and design workflow independently on a wide variety of projects. Design development from concept stage to working drawings preparation. Attend Client meetings with site coordination & experience in client interface.

This position is on purely contract basis for a period of One Year, and will be further renewed based on performance assessment.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Oversee the designing process and also overseeing contractors and developers during projects to ensure projects are completed correctly, on time, and within budget.
• creating plans, designs and drawings using computer-aided design programs
• surveying sites
• advising on matters to do with environmental conservation
• discussing requirements with clients
• writing reports
• producing contracts and estimated costs
• presenting proposals to clients for approval and agreeing time-scales
• overseeing projects as they progress
• seeking the opinions of locals, business and others who use the site
• liaising with other professionals such as architects, surveyors, town planners and civil engineers.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to write clear reports, communicate findings, and articulate proposals.
• Thorough understanding of governmental regulations and design guidelines.
• Practical experience with CAD software.
• Good creative flair and imagination.
• The ability to respond well to feedback.
• Ability to model the vision and present in form of walkthroughs

Education and Experience:
• Masters of Landscape Architecture/ Bachelor of Architecture/ Diploma in Architectural Technology
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil estimates, Rendering software and presentation software
• Good technical knowledge of practice line discipline
• 1 – 2 years of post-graduate experience
• Experience on public Landscape or public buildings projects
• Previous experience coordinating with all of the disciplines Architecture, MEP, Structures
