  Title:Project Associate Position in Road Safety and Road Safety Audits.
  
  The Centre for infrastructure, Sustainable Transportation and Urban Planning (CiSTUP) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) invites applications for a Project Associate position in Road Safety and Road Safety Audits. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing traffic & safety data, conducting road safety audits, and developing strategies to improve road safety. This role requires a deep understanding of traffic engineering, safety principles, and regulatory standards. Candidate should have the following qualifications:
• Education:
  • Post graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
• Skills Expected:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of road safety principles, traffic management, and familiarity with relevant IRC codes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, Candidates with fluency in Kannada will be given preference.
  • MoRTH road safety auditor certification will be a plus.
• Selected Candidates Will be Offered:
  • Position: Project Associate
  • Salary: Salary will be commensurate with background and experience, within the norms of IISc. The initial appointment will be for one year with a probation period of two months.
• Deadline: The last date to submit applications is before 30th June 2024, by 5:00 P.M. Interviews will occur as and when suitable applications are received.
